the week before i left germany, henning and i drove down to heidelberg to meet my bff laycee, and [not so] little brother tucker.
we met up and went straight for food (would you expect anything less?) and tucker, surprisingly, ordered and ate schnitzel. this is the kid who legitimately ate nothing growing up besides bacon, mac-n-cheese, and turkey. nothing else.
we walked around the old town, dodging the rain.
the city of heidelberg is extremely touristy, yet charming and beautiful.
so incredibly lovely, i need to go back for more than one day.
we said goodbye to tucker in the early afternoon, he was with the graduation trip.
we walked/shopped some more and headed towards the river, stopping for fun hats in a street market.
and of course henning happily obliged to be our paparazzo:
and we couldn't resist the flower market:
oh heidelberg, you are beautiful.
until we meet again,
hay.
Lovely lovely photos! I had friends who studied abroad in Heidelberg and absolutely loved it :)

Looks like so much fun! I have yet to go to Germany but it's definitely on my list!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite places in the world without a doubt. Miss it!
ReplyDeleteAwww it looks like a charming place. We missed it on the road trip due to lack of time. It looks great though.
